46. Despite sections 38, 41, 44 and 45, the board may issue an event permit to a person or partnership that uses a permit authorizing the sale or service of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises, on condition that access to the activity for which the permit is requested is limited to a group of persons and provided that the applicant refuses to admit any person who does not belong to the group, regardless of whether the activity takes place inside or outside the permit holder’s establishment.
However, if the applicant is a non-profit legal person, the activity may be open to the public and the profit generated during the activity must be used as provided for in section 45.
Alcoholic beverages sold or served during the activity for which the event permit is issued must be purchased in accordance with the permit authorizing the sale or service of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises.
